For those of you who may not know, I recentlly had surgery on my hip. I have been dealing with trochanteric bursitis for the last year. The bursitis did not respond to any of the conventional treatments such as steroid injections, anti-inflammatories, or physical therapy. Because of the lack of response to any of the treatments I had to have a bursectomy and a cut down on my iliotibial band or lengthening is another term used.
The recovery has not been that bad.....other than being stuck in the house! I only had to use crutches for about a week and a half. The pain was not bad..sometimes. I can't drive for 3 weeks...that sucks!
I am not a good patient!

Post Nuptial Celebration! August 30,2008

This past weekend was alot of fun! We went home for the Argabright family reunion and my grandparents b-days. My mamaw turned 90 and my papaw turned 87...amazing, huh? I got to see people I haven't seen in years! and we ate lots of good food!

Our new house......
The past four months have been a whirlwind! The proposal, planning the wedding.....as if that wasn't enough...we found a house! And it was obvious God wanted us to have this house because he opened so many doors for us to make it happen! We found it January 15 and closed on the sale of my house and the purchase of the new house February 15! and moved in on Feb. 16th! We left for the Virgin Islands Feb. 29! WOW!
Our honeymoon in St. John.....
St. John was the most beautiful place we have ever been! It was quiet, secluded.....perfect for our honeymoon!
